What's Happening This Month:Dear Yogi's, I know this time of year - as we transition from the early part of fall towards the chillier, late fall and then (dare I say it?!) winter - can be a little tough, to say the least. The days get shorter, the nights get longer, and seemingly darker. With that comes a whole bunch of feelings and transitions. Believe me, I know. Combine that with the busy lives I know you all have, and all of the heavy things swirling around the media at the moment. It can certainly be a lot for any human to bear, if we're not careful. I do not have all the answers. But I do know one thing: we cannot pour from an empty cup. Be sure to do something to fill your own cup this month. Not just for you, but for all the people around you, and everyone in the world who needs your light to keep shining! A few small, conscious actions can really go a long way when it comes to our well-being. If possible, repeating those same few small actions weekly or daily to support you is even better. If the impending winter blues has you feeling more afraid than spooky season ever did, check out the blog post I wrote last winter reflecting on the dark season and the things that helped me through it.
